Thank you for choosing Memorableboutiqu for your event decor and rental needs. We are committed to providing high-quality products and services for your special occasions. This Return Policy outlines our guidelines for returns, cancellations, and refunds.
1. Return Period
For rental items, all returns must be made within the agreed-upon rental period as specified in your rental agreement. Late returns may incur additional charges as outlined in your rental agreement.
For purchased items (if applicable), returns must be initiated within 7 days of receipt of the item.
2. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- Rental Items: All rental items must be returned in the same condition they were received, allowing for reasonable wear and tear. Items that are damaged beyond normal wear and tear, or that are missing components, will be subject to additional charges as per the damage assessment section below.
- Purchased Items (if applicable): Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition that you received them. They must also be accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.
3. Return Shipping Costs
For rental items, return shipping or transportation is typically the responsibility of the client unless otherwise specified in your rental agreement. In some cases, we may arrange pickup of rental items for an additional fee.
For purchased items (if applicable), you will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
4. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

- Our team will provide you with specific instructions for returning the item, including any required return authorization number.
- Package the item securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Include the return authorization number and a copy of your receipt inside the package.
- Ship or deliver the item to the address provided by our customer service team.
Upon receipt, we will inspect the item to ensure it meets our return conditions. We will notify you of the status of your return once the inspection is complete.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Custom or personalized items that were made specifically for your event.
- Perishable goods such as floral arrangements or food items.
- Items that have been used for their intended purpose and cannot be resold or reused.
- Services that have already been performed.
6. Damage Assessment
For rental items, we will assess any damage beyond normal wear and tear upon their return. Damage assessment will be conducted within 48 hours of the return of rental items.
If items are damaged, missing components, or not returned, the following charges may apply:
- Minor damage that can be repaired: Cost of repair plus a 15% processing fee.
- Major damage that cannot be repaired: Replacement cost of the item plus a 15% processing fee.
- Missing items or components: Replacement cost of the item or component plus a 15% processing fee.
Any additional charges will be applied to the credit card or payment method on file, as authorized in your rental agreement.
7. Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy for event bookings is as follows:
- 60+ days before the event: Full refund of the deposit minus a $250 administrative fee.
- 30-60 days before the event: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- Less than 30 days before the event: No refund.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected].
In the case of extreme circumstances such as severe weather events or other force majeure situations that make it impossible to proceed with the event, we will work with you to reschedule your event or provide credit toward a future booking.
8. Refund Procedure
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days. Please note that it may take an additional 2-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
For security deposits on rental items, the deposit will be refunded within 5 business days after the return and inspection of all rental items, less any applicable damage charges.
If you have not received a refund after the specified time periods, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
9. Late Returns
Rental items must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time specified in your rental agreement. Late returns will incur the following charges:
- Up to 4 hours late: 25% of the daily rental rate.
- 4-24 hours late: 100% of the daily rental rate.
- More than 24 hours late: 100% of the daily rental rate for each additional day or portion thereof.
These charges reflect the impact that late returns have on our ability to serve other customers with scheduled reservations for those items.
10. Quality Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our products and services. If any rental item is found to be defective or does not meet our quality standards upon delivery or setup, please notify us immediately, and we will replace the item or provide an appropriate adjustment to your bill.
Claims regarding the quality or condition of items must be made at the time of delivery or setup, before the event begins. Once the event is underway, we cannot accept claims regarding the quality or condition of items unless the issue could not reasonably have been detected during initial inspection.
